5. Art Nouveau.

This decorative art movement, characterised by intricate linear designs and flowing curves, was prominent in France at the end of the 19th century.

6. Romanticism.

French Romanticism in the early 19th century, represented by artists like Eugène Delacroix, highlights emotion, nature, and individualism.

Music.

1. Chanson.

A traditional French music genre, chansons are lyrical songs known for their poetic and often emotional content. Famous chanson artists include Édith Piaf and Charles Aznavour.

2. French Opera.

France has a rich tradition of opera, with composers like Georges Bizet (Carmen), Jules Massenet (Manon), and Hector Berlioz (Les Troyens) creating timeless works.

3. Impressionist Music.

Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel were prominent composers who applied Impressionist principles to music, focusing on tone color and atmosphere.

4. Electronic Music.
