Staying in Singapore for the holidays? Singapore has a lot of opportunities to have fun and make Christmas a unique experience for you and your family. Be it shops, installations, performances, or food, there is a different kind of Christmas flare that you can only find here in Singapore.

With so many events happening all at once, choosing which one you should go to for Christmas is more of the challenge.

There’s no need to worry, though, because we got your back. Here are some of the Christmas events here in Singapore you shouldn’t miss out on.

1. Christmas Wonderland

This Christmas, Marina Bay’s Gardens by the Bay will be filled with decor, lights, and carols. Have fun with your friends in the carnival games and visit the stalls for some souvenirs and delicious food. The annual Yuletide fair as well as the Christmas Parade are some of the must-sees in the island. Of course, don’t forget to witness Asia’s tallest Luminarie Christmas tree which is located here.

 

2. Poinsettia Wishes

 

Another place to visit in the Gardens by the Bay is the Flower dome. Poinsettia Wishes features replicas of landmarks from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. 30 varieties of poinsettia plants will fill your view ⁠— it is a truly magical sight.

 

3. Sparkling Wonders of Christmas at Jewel

Jewel Changi will deliver the ultimate White Christmas this year with their events, Snow Walk and Snowfall Spectacular. You can also buy some Christmas goodies in the Festive market and marvel at the awe-striking Christmas tree. Don’t forget to check out their Frozen-themed Christmas decorations too.

 

4. Island Lights

Sentosa Island will be having weekend events until the 31st. Watch movies, enjoy performances, and take some Instagram-worthy pictures with the light installations this holiday season in the island. The Snowflakes Symphony which showcases 300 neon, colour-changing snowflakes which you must witness with your own eyes.

 

5. A Dazzling Christmas

 

If you are creative, then joining in some DIY cup holder, DIY necklace, and watercolour lettering workshops in One Raffles Place’s A Dazzling Christmas might be the event that you are looking for. If you just like admiring art or buying handmade gifts, then there are also stores that you can visit instead.

 

6. Christmas On A Great Street At Orchard Road

One of Singapore’s most popular shopping destination is transformed into a wonderland this Christmas. Enjoy the holiday decorations, light shows and festive buys around Orchard.

 

7. Smoke & Mirrors Buffet

On the National Gallery Singapore rooftop is the iconic Smoke & Mirrors bar. Apart from the panoramic view of Singapore’s skyline, they will be having free-flow drinks along with classic European festive cakes. This is the place to be if you want to spend Christmas Eve with the people you love with a traditional dinner.
